A little about Us
Our family has been enjoying Labradoodles since 2013 when we got our first Australian Labradoodle. We searched high and low for a dog that wouldn’t trigger our teenage son’s asthma, would be predictably safe with our small children, would have the stamina to go for long runs but not require them when we felt like staying in and lounging; a dog that could go anywhere with us or do nothing with us. We were looking for the perfect family dog and we found her - our first Australian Labradoodle.
When we moved to Central Oregon in 2016, I was a birth doula and a childbirth educator who had attended hundreds of human births; assisting and comforting moms through their labor and delivery. My work was all about birth and I loved it! I was also curious about animal birthing. I grew up on a farm and wanted to share some element of that experience and my passion for calm births with my daughters.
So, when the opportunity arose to be mentored by one of the most reputable breeders in Oregon, we jumped on it.
Mt. View Labradoodles have been breeding Australian Labradoodles for more than 20 years and have fantastic multi-generation bloodlines, with decades of knowledge and breeding experience that they generously agreed to share with us. After our first whelping of a litter of puppies, I was on cloud 9 and we were all in!
We are still relatively new but we are creating a small family business that we are incredibly proud of. We are working hard, we are working together as a family, and we are putting our heart and soul into our breeding practices...and I get to share my calm birthing practices with my dogs and my daughters.
